Dennie Lynn, before his passing in 2013, spent over 40 years working for Atlas World Group, where he eventually became the Senior Vice President of Operations. He was a major influence in the community, coaching both softball and baseball.
In his honor, the Dennie Lynn Field campaign at Central High School has collected over $36,000 that was used to pay for the bronze plaque describing Lynn's contributions to softball, a new state-of-the-art electronic scoreboard, and a new sign for the softball field. We are proud to be a part of this contribution! The next set of pledge payments received over the next few years will be used to add a new press box behind home plate.
Dedicating the softball field in Lynn's honor, is a very fitting way to recognize Lynn as well as donors at Atlas World Group, and ensures that Dennie Lynn's legacy for excellence and opportunity for Central High School's female athletes will never be forgotten.
