Office-118

When planning an office relocation, you will want to find a moving company that can be trusted to complete a quality move. For over 30 years now, Daniel's Moving and Storage has been the commercial moving company of choice for businesses large and small! Regardless of how far you're transporting your company, you can trust our commercial movers to execute your move with efficiency and professionalism. To begin the corporate relocation process Daniel’s Moving and Storage will send an estimator to come out and survey your facilities, then determine the manpower required, the type and amount of equipment needed, and the logistics of the move. Furthermore, we'll assign a Move Coordinator to your project that will provide complete logistics support to ensure everything goes smoothly. We'll also provide an orientation for your employees to let them know exactly what to expect. Your Move Coordinator will serve as a problem solver – supporting our commercial moving crew and generally making sure things go smoothly.

While your move coordinator will help you through the entire process, there are some things you can do to stay organized and aware during the moving process. Here are a few tips, starting two weeks prior to the big move:

Approximately Two Weeks Prior to the Move: Be sure to have two sets of your floor plan available for your moving coordinator. They will create a logistics plan using these plans that will identify all furniture and equipment that needs to be moved. Also, they will determine the method of placing the items at the final destination. Approximately One Week Prior to the Move: All furniture and equipment will be labeled. Each article will be labeled with the exact location the piece will be going in the new location. Also, any furniture that is staying will be marked “DO NOT MOVE”. You should do a clean-out of all paper or material that needs to be disposed of before the move, to reduce your cost.  Also, be sure to back up any important electronic documents. Several Days Prior to the Move: The new location should be marked properly with signs and placards to speed up the moving process. There should be spot indicators on the floor showing where each article of furniture should be placed. On Moving Day: Daniel’s Moving and Storage movers will take all precautions to ensure nothing gets damaged. There will be safeguards on all entrances, exits, and corridors in a proper manner at both locations. The movers will place clean masonite on all carped areas, hallways, and doors at the new location before the move takes place.
